The LMCD Board meets the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at the Wayzata City Hall, 600 Rice Street. The Board holds other special meetings from time to time. Regular Board meetings begin at 7 p.m. Agendas for meetings are available before each meeting.
Routine business is placed on a “consent agenda,” which is considered and approved by one motion at the beginning of each meeting. Any member of the Board may remove an item from the consent agenda for discussion and action. Other agenda items include public comment, public hearings and reports.
To conduct business, the Board must have a quorum. Eight Board members constitute a quorum. A majority vote of the Board in attendance is needed to approve most motions and resolutions. Ordinance amendments require eight affirmative votes.
