After the recent rains, questions about water levels have been received. As of June 28, 2019, Lake Minnetonka water levels are 929.55 feet, below high water thresholds. If more typical weather patterns occur, it is unlikely that high water will be declared in the near future.
While there is no “High Water Declaration,” reducing boat speeds will help minimize erosion of shorelines, damage to structures, and protect the public from possible accidents. If your wake is slamming the shore, slow down, move farther out, or otherwise minimize your wake. Thank you for your safe and courteous boating and protecting the lake for future generations.
