The Lake Minnetonka Conservation District is accepting applications for an Administrative Coordinator. This position performs support for the organization to ensure compliance with LMCD regulations designed to protect Lake Minnetonka and all those who use it. The Lake Minnetonka Conservation District (LMCD) brings together fourteen different cities, two counties, and many state and local agencies to protect, preserve and enhance Lake Minnetonka’s environment, economy and vitality. We are a uniform, coordinating body that cares for and regulates one of Minnesota’s most important resources. Lake Minnetonka is a unique asset requiring unique governance. By working collaboratively across all jurisdictions, we ensure that we represent the many stakeholders who care about our enjoyment of the lake today while preserving it for many generations to come. This position performs a wide variety of administrative, technical, communications, and clerical support for the organization. This position assists with public inquiries, complaints, processing applications, document management, mailings, organizing, environmental and safety programs, and other organizational needs. This position also assists with organizing meetings, financial recordkeeping, license processes, and special projects.

Minimum Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and working knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite, social media, office responsibilities, customer service, and related areas. Business, natural resources, communications or other related degree from an accredited institution is desirable.

Hours and benefits are negotiable. The wage is $18.00-$24.00 per hour depending on qualifications. Applications are due by 4:30 p.m. on December 27, 2021. Apply Now.
