Last night, the Lake Minnetonka Conservation District Board recognized one of it’s former long standing board members, Dan Baasen, at its July 24th Board Meeting. Dan Baasen served on the LMCD Board from 2009 to 2023 as the City of Wayzata’s representative. During his appointment, he served as Board Chair, Vice Chair, and Secretary as well as on various committees and workgroups including Board Officers Workgroup, Communications Committee, Nominating Committee, and most notably Save the Lake Committee.
Dan, thank you again for your professionalism, contributions, and dedication to Lake Minnetonka and its stake holders. We are forever grateful to have worked with you and appreciate all the work you did to help preserve this beautiful lake!
